This policy explains what information RASTestSeries.com collects, how it is used and the choices you have. It applies to the website rastestseries.com.

1. Information we collect

  • Account data: your name, email address and a password stored only as a salted hash (we cannot read your password). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google.
  • Contact information: what you send through the contact form (name, email, optional mobile number, subject and message).
  • WhatsApp and PDF lead forms: your name and WhatsApp/mobile number, the page you used, what you asked for (for example a PDF or a mock test link), the time, and the version of the consent text you accepted.
  • Exam attempts and performance records: the answers you choose, time spent per question, scores and reports. Guests who take a free test are linked to their attempts through a browser cookie, not by name.
  • Payment-related data: order records (product, amount, status, order number, time you accepted the Terms) and the payment reference returned by Razorpay. We do not receive or store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or net-banking password.

2. Consent and optional marketing

Lead forms ask for a mandatory consent to use your name and number to provide the requested link and keep a record of the request. A separate, optional checkbox asks whether you also want exam updates, new test series and offers. Not ticking it never affects your access. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time by emailing [email protected].

When you use “Send to My WhatsApp”, the website only opens WhatsApp with a message addressed to the number you entered; you send it yourself. We do not send WhatsApp messages on your behalf and do not use the WhatsApp Business API.

3. How we use information

  • to run your account, tests, results and reports;
  • to provide the link, PDF or test you requested;
  • to process payments and give access to purchased products;
  • to answer support requests and resolve payment problems;
  • to keep the service secure and to understand, in aggregate, how features are used (for example how many tests were started), using records stored in our own database;
  • to send updates only if you gave the optional marketing consent.

4. Payment processor

Payments are processed by Razorpay (Razorpay Software Private Limited). When you pay, you enter payment details on Razorpay's checkout, under Razorpay's own terms and privacy policy. Razorpay tells us whether the payment succeeded, the amount and a payment reference.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies: a sign-in session cookie, and an attempt cookie that lets a guest resume and see their own free test. The site also records basic usage events (such as page views, test starts and submissions) in its own database. Third-party analytics or advertising tags are not used unless they are enabled and listed in this policy.

6. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers needed to run the website (hosting, Razorpay for payments, Google if you choose Google sign-in) or when the law requires it.

7. Data retention

Account, attempt and result records are kept while your account is active so your history and reports stay available. Order and payment records are kept as long as needed for accounting, tax and dispute purposes. Lead-form and contact records are kept only as long as needed for the purpose for which they were given, and are deleted on request.

8. Your rights: access, correction and deletion

You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to [email protected] from the email address of your account (or giving the number you used on a lead form). Some records (for example completed payment records) may need to be kept where the law requires it; we will tell you if that applies.

9. Security

The website uses HTTPS. Passwords are stored as salted hashes. Payment credentials are handled by Razorpay, and gateway secrets stay on the server and are never sent to browsers. Admin areas require an authorised account. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

10. Children

The service is meant for exam aspirants. If you are under 18, use it with the consent of a parent or guardian.

11. Changes and contact

We may update this policy; the date of the latest version is shown on this page. Questions or requests: [email protected]. See also Grievance & Support.
